Currently, the only thing you won’t have access to are the on-demand lectures. These are for sale individually, and intended for classroom use.

Cogito Membership (schools)
Go to My Account, then select Your Courses
Go to my account and make sure you are logged in. A link called “Group Management” will appear beneath the “my courses” button. Click on this link, and you will be taken to your group management page.
In the Group Management page, click on the left-hand drop-down menu “Users”
Choose “Add One”. You now have two choices:
- Add and invite a user (student). Add their email address, and first and last names. You can then invent a password to give to them. They will receive an email with this information.
- Send Enrolment key. This is recommended. Add the student’s first name, last name and email address. They will then be sent an email with directions on how to sign up to your group
In the Group Management page, click on the box next to a student’s name. A new set of options will appear at the top of the table. Select “Remove user(s)”
They will be sent an email with directions on how to log in. They will be able to start the course. You will be able to see them in the Group Management page, and monitor their progress.

After first logging in, they will be able to create and use their own password.
In this situation, they should log in first, then follow the link again. They will then have the opportunity to use the student registration key.
Failing this, you can delete the user from your list, and invite them again, but this time with a password.
In the left-hand drop-down menus “Users” in the Group Management page, you can select “Email Users”.
You can select all users, or students in a particular course, or students in a particular course of a particular completion status (Not Started, In Progress, Completed etc.).
You can them email them what you expect them to complete, and monitor their progress in the Group Management page
On the Group Management page, there is a drop-down menu on the right hand side called “Reports”. Clicking it will reveal three options:
- Course allows you to look at your whole cohort’s progress in a specific course (subject)
- Quiz allows you to drill down to specific quizzes in a course, again, for your whole cohort
- Progress allows you to look at a specific student’s progress through a predictive field search bar
In the Group Management page, click on the student’s name. A pop-up will appear, where you will be able to edit their name, email and username
In the Group Management page, click on the box next to the student’s name. New options will appear at the top of the table. Select “Send Password Reset”
It may be that the email has been caught in spam.
It could also be that it has disappeared into the ether. If that’s the case, you can choose to reset their password. This will prompt a new email that will allow the student to access their account.
We don’t have an automatic system for that yet, but are more than happy to add spaces to your membership.
There is no lower limit, just contact us.
